
Yoga for Volleyball Players

Yoga designed for Volleyball athletes is a method of not only strengthening and conditioning, but a method of recovery as well. Based upon the physical demands and mental stress, when practiced correctly, yoga can be a vital role fr the athlete both physically and mentally. Yoga can also help with preparation and performance on and off the court.
Some of the physical benefits we will cover are the increase of oxygen efficiency, flexibility, balance, strength, injury prevention, and recovery. As for the mental benefits, we will work on stress reduction, focus and mental preparation.
Throughout this workshop we will introduce breath-work and shapes as we discuss the benefits. Followed by a 45 min Flow ending with a 15-20 min Restorative Yoga class.
