Yoga for Skiers & Snowboarders

Gliding down the hills, whether it be on two skies or one board, is both a physically and mentally demanding feat. These winter sports might look easy, but they require stamina, strength, balance, and concentration. In this workshop you’ll be guided through meditation to get you in the “zone” to increase performance and you’ll be given tips on how to focus the mind when you hit the snow-covered slopes. We’ll work on increasing our balance on our feet by finding lower body and core strengthening movements and we’ll take the time to stretch out all the muscles utilized in these activities. Designed for both casual and serious mountain riders alike but beneficial to anyone looking to connect to the power of the body and the mind.
